We've had to wait two hours before our train came so we stayed over here. Was a nice café, friendly employees, I liked the pie, coffee and would recommand the hot dog. Also the prices are okay (refil your coffee) for Norwegian prices ;)

Rented bikes here. Well maintained Merida hardtails. Don't go too fast in the beginning and get used to the gravel, your bikes and the disc brakes. The disc brakes -which didn't squeel!- work proper, but the gravel doesn't. I tumbled over in the first corner, ripped my jacket and lost some skin. But hey, you can't blame the rental company for this! Just go with the flow and take a brake sometimes to enjoy the wonderful and breathtaking scenery. It's 20km back to Flam railway and the first part -with the gravel- is the best. We did this in 3,5 hours and had a great time

This is the only restaurant at beautiful Mrydal station. Beside food they also sell jackets, goggles and souvenirs. The restaurant is a self service one. It is an ideal place to spend some time while waiting for your trains. Worth trying...

nice but also the only option you have in Myrdal to get some warm food drinks. we rented bikes to go to Flam and bike conditio s were perfect. friendly staff also. I would say dont book in advance because there are plenty in stock and weather is not unpredictable so you can choose on the day to rent or not. the ride it self is beautiful but be mindful about the twisty road downhill and gravel. pictures attached.

Rented bikes from here and rode to Flåm. As a cyclist, I thought the bikes were great quality and well maintained. They performed well on the tougher, steep terrain. I saw some reviews earlier complaining about the bikes, but I would not give them any credence. You are asked to try the bike before taking it to make sure it operates well, and you are told to walk the bike down the more technical areas if you are not comfortable riding. I tried the bike and liked it. I rode down all the tough parts. It was awesome. Highly recommend renting from here and doing the ride!

The only establishment when passing through Myrdal. They have fruit, yogurt, drinks, noodles, sandwiches, hot dogs, and coffee. Prices are a bit steep. Beautiful setting though.
